Being the Norwegian and the fashionjunkie that I am, of course I am very proud of the models migrating from Norway to the big world and making it happen. That is why I wanna give you a little peek into who they are. First up is Iselin Steiro (represented by Team Models in Norway, just like me).
Iselin was discovered in 1999 and went on to have her breakthrough in 2003 walking for Calvin Klein and Prada during her first fashion week season. She is now represented by Women Model Management in New York, Paris, and Milan, and FM in London. Iselin has appeared in editorials for magazines including Numèro, French Vogue, Vogue Italia and Harper’s Bazaar. Her covers include French, Flair, Korean Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue Italia, and several Norwegian magazines. She modelled in New York fulltime over a period of two years. Steiro has now moved back to Norway to pursue architecture studies, but still works sporadically. During the Spring 2010 Fashion Week, Iselin made a runway comeback, walking in 20 fashion shows. These including, amongst others, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Valentino, Givenchy and Balenciaga. She has also been featured in campaigns for brands including Jill Stuart, Hugo Boss, Just Cavalli, Balenciaga, Chloé, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, D&G, Versace, Valentino, Chanel, Missoni, Mulberry, Lanvin, Lancome and Jil Sander. Iselin is today ranked #7 in the world of modeling by models.com.
